JL Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join the team at Aspen Suites Hotel Fairbanks as we prepare to reopen following a full renovation this May.

This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step into leadership or continue growing their career in hotel operations. You will play a key role in setting the tone for the guest experience and helping build a strong, service-focused front office team from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

As our Front Office Supervisor, you’ll support daily operations while leading by example and helping create a welcoming, organized, and guest-focused environment.

Guest Experience and Service

  • Create a warm and professional first impression for every guest
  • Support the front desk team in delivering consistent, high-quality service
  • Handle guest concerns with confidence, professionalism, and care
  • Ensure guests feel welcomed, informed, and taken care of throughout their stay

Leadership and Team Support

  • Train, coach, and support front desk associates on service standards and procedures
  • Lead shifts and provide guidance to the team in real time
  • Help foster a positive team culture built on accountability and support
  • Serve as Manager on Duty as needed, including evenings and weekends

Operations and Administration

  • Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and cash handling
  • Assist with scheduling, ordering supplies, and maintaining front office organization
  • Ensure reports, guest folios, and system balances are accurate and complete
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and leadership teams

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year of hotel front desk experience required
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with computers and learning hotel systems
  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
